chocolate peanut butter cups!

The other day I decided to make some chocolate peanut butter cups! I had seen handmade ones popping up all over the internet and they seemed really easy and fun to make, so I looked up a recipe and went for it! They're super easy to make and only take about a half hour to 45 minutes.

To make them, you'll need:
-a 12 oz pack of semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1 cup of peanut butter (I chose chunky peanut butter for more fun!)
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 cup confectioners sugar
-muffin cup liners

Take the little paper muffin cups and cut them down to about half their original half.

Melt half of your chocolate chips. You can use a microwave, I melted mine in a saucepan on the stove because I don't have a microwave. Spoon the chocolate into the cups and draw the chocolate up the sides of the paper to coat them. Cool them in the fridge until they've hardened (I put them in the freezer cuz I was impatient!).

To make the peanut butter filling, mix the peanut butter, salt and confectioners sugar. Divide the mixture into your little chocolate cups. Melt the rest of your chocolate chips and cover the peanut butter to the edges of the cups. Put it back in the fridge and wait till they're cooled, then eat them!
