explosions in the sky

Okay, well, this post will be short since I'm supposed to be meeting a friend to go on a nature walk in a couple minutes, but I wanted to post because I'm blogging from the Brave!!! Look at my little map, the Brave has finally moved out of Anchorage. Granted, it will be returning tomorrow, but still. Seeing that little needle move is thrilling (for me at least).
These pictures were taken on my way up to Talkeetna at a roadside firework vendor. Fireworks are illegal in Anchorage, but once you get out of town into the Valley they have a few places set up on the side of the road where you can buy them. They all have the most fun paint jobs, and this is just one of them, I think on my way back to Anchorage I'm going to try and do some pictures by another stand.

Okay, well, I better not keep my nature walk waiting. Perhaps I'll post later tonight on some of my adventures that occured last night.

Sweet backgrounds! I love firework stands, there's just something so fun and weird about them.

I love the layered look of your outfit. Those boots are just the best!

And finally, how exciting to be camping in the Brave and blogging from it as well! It's like a preview to your upcoming adventures. :)

great backgrounds with these shots and cute dress. Fireworks are illegal here in NJ too. So many people buy them in PA and bring them over though. I was so mad that my neighbors were setting them off on Independence Day. . .because our houses are close together and there are loads of trees - which is part of why it is illegal. . .too many house fires!

I love that floral dress so much, and how versatile it is being completely button down! So cute!

It's neat to see the needle move! Do you move it yourself online or do you have some kind of GPS in the brave that does it automatically? That would be pure techie-bliss if you did, haha.
