Novel Hunt Giveaway!

The long weekend is finally here! To celebrate, I get to bring you guys another great giveaway, this time, from The Novel Hunt. The Novel Hunt just recently opened for business and is full of fun, quirky, and unique pieces just waiting to be snatched up! They've got both new, used and vintage items and are always on the lookout for cool things to offer. I think my personal favorites are the fun accessories. The Bright Bowed Clutch just screams "girl's night out"! I guess I may be in a bow mood because I'm also loving the Yellow Bow Belt, haha.

The Novel Hunt is offering the Sexy Swirly Belt and the Blue Weav'n Bag to one lucky reader!

The Sexy Swirly Belt is a wide elastic belt with pleather front and swirly windmill-shaped silver buckle embellished with rhinestones. The Blue Weav'n clutch is faux leather with removable long, silver chain so you can wear it around as a purse, or take it out on the town as a clutch!

To win these beauties, just leave me a comment on this post telling me how you'd style up these accessories and where you'd be going in your outfit! The giveaway will be open from now until next Tuesday, June 1 at 9pm AKST. Open to international entrants. One entry per person.

So, to recap:
-Head over to The Novel Hunt and pick out your favorite item,
-come back and leave a comment letting me know how you'd style up the belt and bag.
-Don't forget to leave an email address where I can reach you
-all before Tuesday, June 1 @ 9 pm AKST/10 pm PST

Good Luck! And don't forget to check out the

I love the giveaway.
I'd wear them both with the short, blouse-y dress I'm making out of tan and turquoise animal print jersey!

Jenny said...

Thanks for the great giveaway! I'd wear the belt over a simple over-sized t-shirt to make a t-shirt dress; the blue bag would pop. I'd wear bright red skimmers or something, too. And can't forget accessories!

Jen said...

Aww this giveaway is adorable! My favorite item is definitely the used LUX dress. The pattern is adorable and I love it!

As for the belt i'd pair it with a plain top and a patterned skirt. I'd probably keep the whole look simple to keep the focus on the gorgeous belt. The bag I would wear with an all white beach outfit. :)

My favorite is the denim and flowers dress! http://www.thenovelhunt.com/shop/new/dresses/denim-and-flowers/prod_9.html
I'd wear my thrifted Michael Kors top that's an XL size to give it a cinched look. It's blue so it'd go perfectly with the clutch!

Great giveaway, chickadee!

Fave item? One in the same - that blue clutch is fantastically fabulous and I can see myself wearing it with an oversized tee and my favorite pair of jeggings (yes, I like the bizarre hybrid of jeans and leggings)and some purple and pink striped espadrilles and a swipe of hot pink on my lips.

Where would I wear it? Heck, with that cute of an outfit, I would go anywhere - even walk down every aisle of a grocery store! ;)

That purse is so great! I would wear them with a red t-shirt dress and my moccasins. I would go just about anywhere in this outfit!

I love this 90s dress. http://www.thenovelhunt.com/shop/new/dresses/flowers-from-the-90-39-s-/prod_26.html Soooo Kelly Kapowski!

I use the clutch as a pop of color in an otherwise black outfit. The belt could be used with soooo many dresses that I have, I don't even know where I start!

So cute! I love the Cream of Wheat dress... 50% for the cuteness of the dress, the other half for the cuteness of the name. :p

I'd sit the belt atop a standard grey pencil skirt and an off-white blouse with a bit of ruffle to it(http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_h4mOtJEDlTk/Ryf3l6fNEAI/AAAAAAAAAyc/qS8bwWP1fn8/s400/white%2Bruffled%2Bblouse.jpg), with some ridiculous blue plastic earrings (http://www.viciousstyle.com/images/rhinestonehoopearrings.jpg) to accent my equally bright purse. I'd sweep up my hair, throw on some black heels, and head to my job as a receptionist. :D

I own about a million simple waist cinched shirt dresses that would look really cute with the belt, but I just got this black silk shirtdress that I would totally wear with the belt to add waist definition and then the clutch for a pop of color! Perfect for a warm summer night while still looking pulled together!

Lisa said...

Love the lacy vintage blouse they have..so pretty. I would wear that belt with my 80's pantsuit that is in need of a thick belt and would wear it to a birthday party.

the belt is amazing. it would look great with a turquoise dress and paired with that bag it would be fantastic.
so many great things on the site, it's hard to choose just one favorite, but i'll go with the 50's style Double Zero dress :)

Maddison Colvin said...

I like the "Just Peachy" top- I'd wear it with the belt and a rusty-red high-waisted skirt, with silver anchor earrings!

I think the bright turquoise bag would pop against the rusty red, too- but I would probably wear that more often with a short white shirtdress over tan shorts and sandals. What a fun summer bag!

Great idea for a giveaway contest and love the prizes!

I adore turquoise and this bag looks perfect! I'd wear it with a long flowing white dress, say linen... Strapless, so the belt gives accent to the torso (and makes a little bit flat chest appaear not so flat:) The shoes would be whitish platforms... It's so sunny today, I wish I could wear this righ now! :)

By the way, my favourite from the shop is the Spring Flower Dress!

Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the great giveaway!

These guys have an awesome (and inexpensive) belt collection. The Big Buckler is kind of calling my name.

I think the black belt would look great cinched over a a shirtdress and the blue bag would be a great pop of color with almost anything.

Woah, what a lovely giveaway. :)

I would style both the belt and the bag with this dress:http://www.thenovelhunt.com/shop/new/dresses/flowers-from-the-90-39-s-/prod_26.html
It's my fave from the page and I think the outfit would be perfect for eating ice creams in the sun and such.
and bare feet would be a must - they always are for me in the summer - so it won't look too fancy.

Oh, the shop is lovely! I like the Grecian Goddess and Cream of Wheat sundresses best.

As for styling the belt and bag, I have a floaty multicoloured dress that could stand a bit more of an edgy look, so I'd add the belt. The bright blue bag would fit right in with the rainbow of colours on the dress. I'd add some black flats and a silver necklace, and then I'm out the door to dinner and a movie with the girls.

Lilli said...

Yay giveaway!

I would wear this with a simple jersey dress and oxfords!

My favorites from the shop are the Pretty Painted Tunic and the big buckler belt!!!!

I really love the cream of wheat dress. It's just the dress I've been looking for to wear on my summer vacation to South Dakota: easy, comfortable, but very cute! Anyhow, I'd probably belt the belt around a sundress, pop on a denim jacket, and wear that and the purse with lo-top converse to an indie rock show! :) Definitely my favorite.

What a fun shop! That double zero '50s style dress is calling my name!

I love the belt; I've been looking for something kind of glam to wear over my nude and black-lace-overlay skirt and sleeveless black trapeze top. Classy but fun!

The bag is amazing. I'd wear it everywhere, but right now I'm picturing it with jeans, a navy plaid blazer, my bronze wedges, and a giant silver multi-strand necklace.

I absolutely love the giveaway items! Especially since they're faux leather. The belt would look awesome with my dresses. The bag would be great with my black jersey dress.

My favorite item from the shop is the 80s Spring Flower Dress, although unfortunately it is much too small for me.

Thanks for the giveaway. I love the black and white stripes dress. Novel Hunt described this dress as if "Madonna met up with a pirate and they had a baby!" I will add red boyfriend cardigan and put the belt on the waist around the cardigan. It will create navy style look (or pirate style look I say). The clutch will add a splash of blue color which suits perfectly with the navy theme.

Lovely giveaway!

My favorite item has to be that black 50's style dress. I could so see myself wearing that.

I would definitely wear the belt with a flowy blouse-like white dress and gladiator sandals that lace up my calf. And some oversized sunglasses, of course!

As for the purse, I think it would look adorable with that black dress mentioned earlier and some black and white Oxfords, and a matching blue scarf tied around the waist or as a headband.

I'd wear them with my denim shorts and my billowy burlap 3/4 length shirt! I love it :) And this outfit will rock out my cabin in Idaho.

Or maybe I'd pair them both (though not at the same time) with the adorable Little Black Ruffles dress over at Novel Hunt. Summer ready!

So many great things at Novel Hunt to just choose one! I do love the Black Floral Dress a la 70's...too bad it isn't my size.

My outfit:Skinny black jeans with a point toed white flat or maybe black patent. Heck, maybe some great gladiator sandals! A red button up utility-like shirt that is a bit oversized so that I can flounce it over that awesome belt. Roll up the sleeves and throw that great turquoise bag over my shoulder! Sunglasses a must.
