Maiden Voyage

Our maiden voyage together was such a wild success! I ended up not sleeping in it because we haven't got the heater working quite yet, though I'm pretty sure we'll get it up and running in no time. She sucks down the gas like there's no tomorrow, though, haha! I knew that would be an issue, but I'm hoping I can get enough cash saved up to pay for gas. I'm going to guesstimate that overall the costs to run and live in it will be $1/mile.

So remember how in my first outfit/Brave post I dressed to match it? This time I didn't even try and I totally blend into the grille. I laughed so hard when I saw this.

skirt/forever 21 :: shirt/little boy's from walmart :: shoes/forever 21

I think this outfit is the most comfortable one I wear. I'm pretty sure I've worn it multiple times in the past, but I like it just the same every time.

I love this outfit - and it is hilariously great that you match the grill.

It will be a gas guzzler, for sure, but so worth it!

Quick question that is slightly unrelated to this post:

I saw Rebecca from The Clothes Horse post today wearing the Delightful Dozen dress and was curious if her and Erin from Calivintage are participating in the project? When the other bloggers originally posted their look with the dress, I never saw a post from these two girls.

Thanks, I love your outfits by the way! I was born on a military base in Alaska but we moved when I was two so this blog is a little special to me :)

Adorable! Yeah RVs definitely suck down gas... we had a '74 dodge champion years ago. I think the thing had a 100 gallon tank.

The gas will be killer, but totally worth it in the long run. Maybe you can have it converted to an electric car...haha that would be hard.

I just found a really great blog that you ought to check out, it may inspire your winnie adventures. Maybe you've already seen it! http://www.happyjanssens.com/ For a fee, these lovely folks may be able to come convert your winnie to a veggie oil system. Then you'd be running without relying on gas!! Some day when I begin my traveling adventures I'd like to do that as well. I'm sure you would save soooo much money. Then you'd just have to scout out good restaurants to get used oil from.
