Damn. My roots are getting baaad. And I meant to call the salon today to set up an appointment, buuut I lost track of time and now it's too late! I guess I'm going to be wearing hats this week? Unless I can get in tomorrow or Sunday...

Today I had on four different outfits, and actually at this very moment I'm wearing something else. I had my hair done three different ways today too. So indecisive! The weather was indecisive too. It was raining this morning and now it's sunny and warm. I guess I'm taking cues from the weather now.

Little Bit is totally pissed that I'm forcing her to be in my photos. Lately she doesn't want to hang out with me! I'm bummed. I think I need to get a Jack Russell for my Brave trip. They are just such good dogs. My Dad would kill me if I stole Little Bit though. Maybe I should get a Jack Russell puppy this summer and then by the time we go on the trip, she'll be trained? Who knows. Having an unruly dog could make the trip annoying, but having a good dog could make it amazing! What if my dog gets car sick? That's no good. My friend had a German Shepherd who would get car sick all the time, but not when I drove him. I think a Brave is too small for a big ol' German Shepherd though.

So effing cute. Your legs look like buttah. Like two sticks of buttah latched together in a rough-hewn mannah.

Also, go to the pound, get a shelter baby :)

Lua (German Shepherd/Rottweiler) Loves taking trips. She's always so excited to hop in the car and get going. I take her on 5 hour drives almost every other weekend. As long as you stop every now and then and let them stretch their legs/relieve themselves they should be fine. A dog could make a great travel companion, Lua's pretty darn good at it.

I feel like you need a crazy little Toto dog. I don't know why. Are you going to go to the salon to make your roots red or are you dying it back dark again? I know you've said the red won't stay forever.

I'm gonna stay red for a bit more, it's been fun and it seems like a shame to get rid of it already. So I'll be dying my roots red and give it a few more weeks at the least.

I love your hair so much.. how can I get my hair to do that!! ?? my hair is sooo straight. I'm actually getting a haircut tomorrow... not sure if I'll be doing anything too drastic. I've been such a wimp with trying new things since I lost my favorite hairstylist and friend. I miss her so.. but she is at peace. God Bless her soul.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend Elizabeth!

xx Love & Aloha

Don't worry - I put Shakira's roots to shame months ago. I like to think that it just looks like I decided to tie dye my hair lol.

Lots beautiful babies "dogs" waiting for lovely home at shelters! Did you most adult dogs have only 72 hours before they placed with a family. And the rest is history.

Gorgeous outfit and hair! you're gorgeous in everyway!

Little Bit is adorable! That name itself makes me laugh. I vote for you to get a pug haha. I looove your shoes. They're so awesome. I also liked how you layered that lacy shirt underneath the dress. Have a great weekend!

My best friend ha a German shepherd/Rottweiler mix and these guys are SO huge, so I'd prefer a Jack Russell for a traiƶer too ;)
I love your outfit and I think the roots look pretty cool somehow with the all black look!

i know this might sound strange but i actually like the roots...maybe just cause you're wearing a black outfit haha but i think it'd look good with like 203 inches of black roots

i definitely think you should get a dog for your trip! perfect company!

AndiPants said...

I love the outfit!

As for the dog, a dog would be great company but on top of the chance of car sickness, some dogs just can't handle long car rides. My dog gets super antsy really quickly and will destroy things in the car. Then again, the dog I had when I was a kid would just fall asleep in the car and you could drive forever. It really depends on the dog.

Very nice boots.

I hate those days when I wear multiple things. It makes me feel disorganized and all over the place.

Aww, you so need a puppy dog for your Brave trip! We visited with a very very large puppy the other day (german shepherd) and were thinking of adopting him, but he peed allll over Brett and my shoes! It was such a traumatic experience! Haha!

Destined For Now said...

You should get a puppy! He will grow used to your trip and be a great travelling companion for life.

P.S. Your roots do not look that bad.

Stel said...

Love this outfit, its very rock and roll. The tee is great!!

A puppy would make a good addition to the trip.. but they can be rather a lot of work.

Kate @ Earth vs. The Wild Heart said...

Aw man, this is one of my favourite outfits of yours! It's so rocky & the lace really edges it up. All the black makes your red hair pop too - don't lose it!

WILDasaMINK said...

of course you know I'd love that t-shirt! So yeah, I love it.
Your lil' pup is so cute, but I'm all for the big dogs--GERMAN SHEPARDS! Yes, please.
I had a german shepard, he's since passed (RIP lil' Caesar), he was a total wimp about car rides too-always puking in the back seat! But yeah, I think something little but still badass would be a perfect companion for the road. Maybe a french bulldog? TOTALLY CUTE!

Jack Russel terriers are amazing. They are so energetic and loving and often a little crazy, but in a good way. Mine was a great traveler, but I think that might depend more on the dog and not the breed.

Also I love this look, I've been trying to find a way to wear my band tees without jeans.
