Plaid + Giveaway

The weekend never lasts long enough. I took three trips to and from the Valley looking at Braves. I have yet to procure one, but I have learned what I do and do not want. Having never actually been inside the different lengths and floor plans, it was nice to get an idea of what they all feel like. While the shorter 19' model is adorable because of it's stoutness, the floor plan is just a little too cramped. Well, not cramped, but just not the feel that I'd like. The 24' model is just wonderful. I'll let you guys know if anything exciting happens. For now I'm still just waiting to hear back from people and figuring out what moves I'd like to make.

Thanks for your encouragement on my last post. I was never considering not going on the journey, simply contemplating the ramifications of such a journey. I'm hoping it will be a galvanizing experience and am thoroughly looking forward to both the hardships and fun to be had.
I'm hoping that I'll get back to making some of my own art with more free time. It's strange to think that I'll be quitting my job and going on the road. My only source of income will be this blog and... er... singing on street corners with a hat for donations? I guess I'll have to tap into my inner entrepreneur? Maybe I'll walk around the campsites offering to draw people's RV's.

shirt/wet seal :: skirt/thrifted :: shoes/keds :: scarf/KDIKIO vintage

Kristen, from KDIKIO Vintage sent me this gorgeous scarf to style up. When I saw it on her site, it just totally reminded me of a vintage Winnebago. The floral and plaid prints are just perfection! I've never really worn a scarf like this before, but I put it on and the oversized bow just looked too fun!

Lucky for you guys, we're giving this beauty away!

Just leave a comment on this post before 9 pm AKST Saturday, May 1 and it just may be yours! Make sure to leave an email address where you can be contacted in case you win. Open to International entrants. And visit the KDIKIO Vintage shop to check out all the other sweet vintage goodies she's got!
