A Lyric a Day

I love when text can be used really beautifully and effectively in art. I'm a big fan of Ed Ruscha, so whenever someone can make beautiful art out of words, it strikes my eye. I stumbled across this A Lyric a Day project while browsing tumblr. Music + Art + Photography + Typograpy= yum. Stuff like this always makes me wish I spent more time making my own art. Luke, the man behind ALAD, did an interview with The Spit Press, so if you want to learn more about the project you should go read the interview!

I agree. I am a huge sucker for awesome typography, especially if it is in any sort of silhouette form. It can be so artistic.

Tumblr is great and so is the typography that comes along with it. These are some of my favourite songs too!
