I've been having fun discovering new photo places around my new workplace. We are located in a kind of industrial part of town, so there are a bunch of trucks and crates and stuff nearby. I didn't realize how enormous this truck was until I saw these photos! I'm barely taller than the wheel wells!
I'm enjoying my new job. I get to be creative, but I have to sit for 10 hours a day. And I thought I was stationary before. I should probably get on the treadmill, just so I do some sort of physical activity! I was sick this weekend after my flight home, but luckily I felt better by sunday cuz I did great in my hockey game! I got my first goal and a couple assists! I've been feeling more and more confident in my games. My mom said that at one of my next games she's going to bring my camera and the telephoto, so you may be seeing me playing hockey sometime in the near(ish) future!

I finally cut my bangs the other night. I don't know why just a fringe trim can make me feel so fresh. It's like I'm a new person! It seems like hair has such an inordinate power to dictate a woman's moods. I mean, men don't have "bad hair days" do they? Not in the traditional sense, at least. Like, "oh no, I have bed head, now I'm even more sexy because women like tousled hair. Bummer, man." I'm overgeneralizing, but I feel like wonky hair can just totally throw me off on some days. Needless to say, I'm glad my hair is back to behaving itself.
On a totally unrelated note: I think bobsledding should be one my list of things to do before I die. I think it would be so exhilarating. I'm kind of a speed junkie...

I laughed at the men's bedhead making them look even sexier comment. So true. I feel so ugly on a day my hair doesn't sit well. I can have the best skin day mixed with amazing clothing, and if my hair looks wonky, I still feel that I look horrible.

I'm very impressed that you cut your own bangs. I tried cutting mine myself this weekend and while they turned out just fine, it was very stressful and I got so much hair in my eyes!

I know what you mean about having a bad hair day. Having really short hair lessens the chances, but I still can feel grody just because my bangs aren't sitting right, etc. Robert Pattinson seems to be doing real well for himself and his hair...

I've never been bobsledding before! In Wellington, it doesn't snow at all. I think the equivalent is sliding down a big hill on a flattened cardboard box ;)

I like knowing how much of a tomboy you are at heart. Hockey seems so tough and aggressive, but you look so pretty in your girly tights and come off very sweet.

I totally feel you on the wishing you had a treadmill as a desk. It can be really hard to just sit for hours and hours and hours. I follow this blog http://www.themindfulist.com/ and they give really great tips to breaking out of that sitting at your desk.
Sometimes I'll just stand at my desk I look weird but at least my legs are getting some work in them.

I cut my own bangs, but I recommend taking in multiple photos of what you want so the hairdresser knows the look you're going for.
god i feel that way about my hair all the time! it makes me want to cut it off so bad. i never felt self conscious about my hair when i looked like a pixie. but i did feel that my head looked too small to wear with some stuff and i felt a bit too boyish.

I had bangs a year ago or so..horrible experience. My hairdresser cut them completley wrong, so I went home and tried to fix them...they weren't perfect though!
